The earth is like a rubber ball
As its inhabitants have rubber hearts,
Rubber souls.
We bounce…
Every day we fight for something we believe in
And bounce, and twirl, and flail desperately
For peace
For anything we love,
For everlasting happiness
Yet
Bouncing gets us nowhere
We must stop with the incessant
Bounce-bounce-bounce
From one idea to the next
Bounce-bounce-bounce
Abandoning honesty
Abandoning ideals…
We must stand on our feet,
Stand tall
Stand proud
